Taylor's Victories

This poster, designed and drawn by J.G. Bruff around the year 1848, was a campaign print for Whig presidential candidate Zachary Taylor. On each of the block letters is one of Taylor's military victories (Fort Harrison, Okee-Cho-Bee, Palo Alto, Resaca del la Palma, Monterey, and Buena Vista).
