This versatile and essential emergency shelter is a must-have for mountain leaders, rescue organizations, backcountry skiers, and canoe guides worldwide. With its lightweight design, it allows users to create a cozy and dry 'microclimate' ideal for map reading, group discussions, or boosting morale during wet lunch breaks. The Terra Nova Bothy 2 Bag Survival Shelter comes in various sizes and includes clear windows, mesh vents, and roof 'sockets' that can accommodate walking poles for added support. In 2014, it was upgraded with a new low temperature PU window, making it suitable for even colder conditions.
