There are technical components to the blues - standards and vocal phrasing. There are also components to the blues that are more abstract, such as history, geography, even intellectual movements. In this album, I endeavored to use those building blocks to articulate the humanity I see around me - past, present, and future. I invite listeners from all walks of life to the world of The Blues as it is today. I invite people to engage with the ups and downs we all experience, through this music. These fifteen original songs are my invitation to everyone out there."
West Georgia Blues by Jontavious Willis

Musicians:

Jontavious Willis, Guitar & Vocal

Ethan Leinwand, Piano and Wurlitzer

Jayy Hopp, Acoustic Guitar, Drums and Washtub Drum

Rodrigo Mantovani, Upright Bass

Lloyd Buchanan guest vocals on “West Georgia Blues”

Jon Atkinson guest guitar on “A Lift Is All I Need”

All songs are written by Jontavious Willis

Produced by Jontavious Willis

Recorded and Mixed by Jon Atkinson at Capricorn Studios in Macon, GA

Mastered by Justin Perkins at Mystery Room Mastering in

Vinyl Cut by Clint Holley

Front cover artwork by Mark Yamamoto
Inside artwork by Stacy DiCenso
Artist Branding by Raz Raivitz
Album Cover Design by Mark Yamamoto

A & R by George Fontaine Sr

Management by Mechanical Amplifier

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0670/2389/6784/files/willis-jontavious-jontavious-willis-west-georgia-blues-signed-orange-vinyl-new-l_1.jpg?v=1793399102
https://bizdrapeclad.shop/products/willis-jontavious-jontavious-willis-west-georgia-blues-signed-orange-vinyl-new-lp
